Package: foobillard Version: 3.0a-2 Severity: normal
Just starting foobillard writes almost 40k of messages to ~/.xsession-errors. The messages report usage info, startup options, ball positions, vertices and so on, it almost seems as if a complete debug log is written to the xsession error file. I believe that ~/.xsession-error should only receive errors and warnings. Writing all kinds of messages to this file makes it very hard to look for real issues with X applications. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-4-p4pe (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages foobillard depends on: ii libc6 2.6.1-1+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfreetype6 2.3.5-1+b1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1 7.0.1-2 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libglu1-mesa [libglu1] 7.0.1-2 The OpenGL utility library (GLU) ii libice6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpng12-0 1.2.15~beta5-3 PNG library - runtime ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.11-9 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libsm6 2:1.0.3-1+b1 X11 Session Management library ii libxaw7 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Athena Widget library ii libxi6 2:1.1.3-1 X11 Input extension library ii ttf-freefont 20060501cvs-12 Freefont Serif, Sans and Mono True ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-6 compression library - runtime foobillard recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
