Package: ipw3945d Version: 1.7.22-5 Followup-For: Bug #448479 I usually compile my kernel with make-kpkg and install modules with m-a.
with my older 2.6.22.6 kernel installation the module isn't rmmodable when ipw3945d is started. but now with my latest 2.6.23.1, the reference count is still 0 when ipw3945 is started. both modules have been compiled from the same version of ipw3945-source. trying with or without the killswitch yield the same results. Now, i'm going to test this using a 2.6.22.11 kernel. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23.1batchyx2.11 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ipw3945d depends on: ii adduser 3.105 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.6.1-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.1-24 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip Versions of packages ipw3945d recommends: ii firmware-ipw3945 0.7 Binary firmware for Intel Wireless -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
