What I meant was "However I do recall being unable to MOVE a symlink TO
THE TRASH once a while ago."

Since it is NOW possible to move symlinks to the Trash (which is a good
thing), there is indeed the problem of not being able to delete the
broken ones from inside the Trash.

This is the problem that this bug is about and that is not solved yet.
So it should not be closed.
