At the moment, the acpi-support package provides the script 13-915-resolution-set.sh, which is responsible for resuming on Debian. The maintainer of acpi-support and I agreed on moving this script into the 915resolution package and once he dropped it with the next upload, I'll integrate it into 915resolution.
