Package: openmpi Version: 1.2.4-3 Severity: minor The openmpi package has Build-Depends: libsysfs-dev for some (probably historical) reason. However, I have just tested a build on a system without libsysfs installed at all, and it completed fine.
The upstream changelog says: - Removed dependency on sysfsutils from the openib BTL for libibverbs >=v1.1 (i.e., OFED 1.2 and beyond). and the Debian archive has libibverbs 1.1.1.
