Package: kmplayer Version: 1:0.10.0a-2 Severity: normal I'm shifted to PulseAudio to have a more powerful framework for sound in Linux. Alsa has been configured to use pulse as the default device. artsd has been configured to use alsa. So overall most of the things are using pulse.
I am able to assign individual volume rates to most apps (xine, mplayer, amarok, kplayer), but for kmplayer, even after setting the audio device to alsa, it keeps changing the master channel of the volumes which it shouldn't be doing. By doing the current behavior it is changing the system wide sound settings which is not what a user will be wanting.
