Package: subversion
Version: 1.4.4dfsg1-1
Severity: normal

I am doing the equivalent of this (username, password, and host name changed):
svn co --username foo --password bar https://somewhere.foo.com/code/blah/trunk
blah
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/code/blah/trunk'
svn: PROPFIND of '/code/blah/trunk': SSL negotiation failed: Connection reset
by peer (https://somewhere.foo.com)

I've google'd for similar situations, and some people see this
intermittently. For me its 100% of the time. I've got a RHEL4 box
plugged into the same hub that my Debian laptop is plugged into, and
it can "svn co" from this site fine.

I've tried "rm -rf ~/.subversion" and then reaccepting the
certificate.

telnet-ssl seems to let me connect to the machine. I can connect to
the https site via Iceweasel just fine.
