Package: telepathy-mission-control Version: 4.42-1 Severity: minor Tags: patch
[I'm a maintainer, but filing a bug for the sake of the NM process...] The mc-account utility in Mission Control doesn't have a man page. I attach one. mission-control itself doesn't have a man page either, but it's not really meant to be run by users, except to debug (it should really move to /usr/libexec on distros that have it, or somewhere in /usr/lib on Debian). I attach a template man page (it's a .in file which expects @libexecdir@ to be substituted, because I suspect that's the format that will be most useful upstream). I'll submit both of these upstream. .TH MISSION-CONTROL "8" "October 2007" "Telepathy" "D-Bus services" .SH NAME mission-control \- Telepathy account management daemon .SH SYNOPSIS [EMAIL PROTECTED]@/mission\-control\fR .SH DESCRIPTION \fBmission\-control\fR (also known as NMC, for Nokia Mission Control) is a Telepathy component providing a way for "end-user" applications to abstract some of the details of connection managers, to provide a simple way to manipulate a bunch of connection managers at once, and to remove the need to have in each program the account definitions and credentials. It is used by Telepathy user interfaces such as .BR empathy (1) and the chat UI on Nokia's Maemo-based internet tablets. .PP It is a D-Bus service which runs on the session bus, and should usually be started automatically by D-Bus activation. However, it might be useful to start it manually for debugging. .SH OPTIONS There are no command-line options. .SH SEE ALSO .IR http://mission-control.sourceforge.net/ , .IR http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/ , .IR http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/wiki/CategoryGabble , .BR empathy (1)
