Looks good, but maybe one of those packages got corrupted, can you try
to reinstall them?
apt-get install --reinstall python-wxgtk2.6 python-wxgtk2.4
Also bringing alternatives back to default (wxPython 2.6) might be a
good idea (unless you have good reason for forcing wxPython 2.4:
update-alternatives --auto wx.pth
