Please explain why this should be removed. Is it because the latest "Desktop
Entry Specification" declares the Encoding key as deprecated?

http://standards.freedesktop.org/desktop-entry-spec/desktop-entry-spec-latest.html#deprecated-items:
| The Encoding key is deprecated. It was used to specify whether keys of type
| localestring were encoded in UTF-8 or in the specified locale. Possible
| values are UTF-8 and Legacy-Mixed. See Appendix D, The Legacy-Mixed Encoding
| (Deprecated) for more details.

I'll probably remove the key if you provide translations of the GenericName
and Comment values (in boinc-manager.desktop) in your native tongue. :-)

Thanks in advance,
Frank
