Package: git-core
Version: 1:1.5.3.4-1
Severity: minor
File: /usr/share/man/man1/git-shortlog.1.gz

$ man git-shortlog | grep -A 3 FILES

           If this file exists, it will be used for mapping author email
           addresses to a real author name. One mapping per line, first the
           author name followed by the email address enclosed by < and >. Use
$

So, what is the name of the file being described?

I have no idea what's causing it. The manpage source looks correct to
me.
