I can't reproduce this with the image you provided. Can you get a
backtrace? Install the gimp-dbg package, run gimp from a shell, and when
the jpeg plugin crashes, select S for stack trace.
Is there a way to run /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/jpeg standalone, the
segmentation fault occurs in a separate process and can therefore not be
traced by running gdb on gimp.
