I just wonder how it could happen that you get a broken link. Did you
alter it manually without properly using "update-alternatives --config"?
I haven't looked into the vim source package but I'd bet it's using
update-alternatives usually.
I dint't, as far as I know, had to be due because some
upgrade/dist-upgrade apt commands in past updates, I never use the
"update-alternatives" manually.
