  Configuration error
AIDE --init return code 17; see /var/lib/aide/aide.db.new for details

Some of aide.conf-files are bash-scripts, but they have the wrong
permissions. The bug is in aide_fixperms. A possible solution is in the
aide_fixperms.diff.

Regards and thanks for maintaining.
