Hi,

could you please send me your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file before and after
the upgrade (of course make sure to restart X in between). What version
of xserver-xorg-input-evdev do you have installed.
Does it solve your problem if you uninstall xserver-xorg-input-evdev?

Our current assumption between the X and hal maintainers is, that it's
actually a bug in xserver-xorg-input-evdev, which is simply triggered by
the latest hal upgrade (which I assume causes X to load the evdev
driver. To confirm that, we need the Xorg.0.logs ).

Cheers,
Michael
