Package: silc Version: 1.1.2-2 Severity: normal
i had silc session running on my machine. I put the machine to sleep, went home, and went to sleep myself. In the morning, i woke up, woke up the machine (on a different network now), and the silc client crashed, leaving this in the terminal (server hostname and private content redacted): [20:06] <[S]dkg> [some goofy signed message...] [08:23] *** Error during rekey with silc.example.org: Key exchange timeout [08:28] *** No PONG reply from server silc.example.org in 301 seconds, disconnecting [08:28] *** Connection lost to silc.example.org [08:28] *** Removed reconnection to server silc.example.org port 706 [08:28] *** Looking up silc.example.org [08:28] *** error /tmp/buildd/glib2.0-2.14.1/glib/gmem.c:154: failed to allocate 3083748128 bytesAborted [134 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ That's a lot of bytes to try to allocate! It also didn't reset the terminal properly after the crash, which left me without a cursor. --dkg -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages silc depends on: ii libc6 2.6.1-1+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.14.1-5 The GLib library of C routines ii libncurses5 5.6+20070908-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libsilc-1.1-2 1.1.3-1 SILC library (silc-toolkit) silc recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
