The crash happens when doing a dnd from the desktop bookmark to the list of volumes in the fileselector, you can try using gedit also for example. There is a backtrace on http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=484130 I'll give a try using GTK 2.12.1 later when it's available but I doubt it'll make a difference if you didn't update the patch since the issue in not an upstream one
