Package: centerim Version: 4.22.1-2.1 Severity: important I have two accounts I log into MSN Messenger network with..
1 hotmail.com 1 linked to a domain I registered I primarily use the one on the domain I registered - it has quite a few contacts in its contact list. On first observation, only the hotmail.com one was connecting to the server, but upon further inspection it was found that the custom domain linked account was connecting - started getting a copy of all the contacts, and then after the 225th LST response from the server it appeared to hang. Ie. [IN] LST [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] 12 <-- 225th LST msncallbacks::closingConnection msncallbacks::unregisterSocket msncallbacks::unregisterSocket + [msn] disconnected Inbetween the last LST response being received, and the connection being closed, nothing happens - and in non-debug mode, the client just claims its connecting. The account works fine with libpurple/pidgin. In libpurple/pidgin, after the same 225th LST, it continues with: (12:32:22) msn: S: NS 000: LST [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] 12 (12:32:22) msn: C: NS 000: CHG 9 NLN .......... (12:32:22) msn: C: NS 000: BLP 10 AL (12:32:22) connection: Activating keepalive. (12:32:22) msn: S: NS 000: CHG 9 NLN .......... (12:32:22) msn: S: NS 000: ILN 9 NLN ....updating an online buddy... (12:32:22) blist: Updating buddy status for [EMAIL PROTECTED] (12:32:22) msn: S: NS 000: ILN 9 IDL [EMAIL PROTECTED] TheirChosenNickname ... more details ... (12:32:22) blist: Updating buddy status for [EMAIL PROTECTED] (MSN) ... Another few buddies ... (12:32:23) msn: S: NS 000: BLP 10 1 AL ... then I'm logged in and it happily progresses from here. Thinking perhaps centerim barfs on size of my contact list perhaps? Or number of contacts in a specific group? Then again, it doesn't segfault, so I'm not sure.. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (700, 'unstable'), (600, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.19+ppscsi (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages centerim depends on: ii centerim-common 4.22.1-2.1 A text-mode multi-protocol instant ii libc6 2.6.1-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.16.4-5 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgcc1 1:4.2.1-5 GCC support library ii libgnutls13 1.7.19-1 the GNU TLS library - runtime libr ii libgpg-error0 1.4-2 library for common error values an ii libgpgme11 1.1.5-2 GPGME - GnuPG Made Easy ii libkrb53 1.6.dfsg.1-7 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libncursesw5 5.6+20070908-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libstdc++6 4.2.1-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages centerim recommends: ii amaya [www-browser] 9.54~dfsg.0-1 Web Browser, HTML Editor and Testb ii elinks [www-browser] 0.11.1-1.4 advanced text-mode WWW browser ii galeon [www-browser] 2.0.2-4 GNOME web browser for advanced use ii iceape-browser [www-browse 1.1.4-1 Iceape Navigator (Internet browser ii iceweasel [www-browser] 2.0.0.6-1 lightweight web browser based on M ii links2 [www-browser] 2.1pre28-1 Web browser running in both graphi ii lynx [www-browser] 2.8.6-2 Text-mode WWW Browser ii sox 13.0.0-1+b1 Swiss army knife of sound processi -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
