Dan, et. al., I was reviewing some cyrus-sasl2 bugs today. It appears that canon_user functionality was requsted and a patch provided. What is canon_user funtionality? Why should it be in the Debian package (assuming it has not already been added upstream and thus will end up in a future release)? What is the potential impact of adding this patch?
