<mms://wm.bbc.net.uk/news/media/news_web/video/40545000/bb/40545855_bb_16x9.wmv> I have downloaded the content of this stream with mimms, and am able to play it back from disk without any problems. totem-xine and xine-ui freeze before starting to play the stream.
