I do only have the second file:

$ lh /usr/share/libpostscriptbarcode/rules.xml
ls: /usr/share/libpostscriptbarcode/rules.xml: No such file or directory
$ lh /usr/share/apps/kbarcode/rules.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4.5K 2007-09-29 03:52 /usr/share/apps/kbarcode/rules.xml

I purge removed the package and rebuilt it using noopt,debug,nostrip.
I also unlinked the kbarcoderc file in my $HOME/.kde/.. directory.
Afterwards, it still crashes. I'm attaching the relevant portion of
the strace and the generated backtrace.

I hope all the information I'm providing is enough to fix this bug.
