The bug still exists in/with this version.

Are you saying I'm imprecise? ;-)

The bug is absolutely reproducible here. It occurred on my Pentium-II
and it still occurs on my Athlon64 X2.

I'll list exactly what has to be done to reproduce it (on my systems):

- Start unclutter: unclutter -idle 1 &
- Start xosview: xosview -lmstemp & # -lmstemp needed due to #384380
- Move the mouse cursor over the xosview window (doesn't matter where
  exactly).
- Wait a second until unclutter hid the mouse cursor.
- Move the mouse cursor again. Now xosview has stopped to update its
display. Known remedy: move another window over it to make xosview
  refresh its display again.
