it would be helpful to me also to have ifplugd working earlier in the boot, so that a machine that wants to ypbind can do that: % ls /etc/rc2.d/*{nis,ifplugd}* /etc/rc2.d/S19nis /etc/rc2.d/S20ifplugd It's helpful to have ifplugd because if the machine is unplugged then there is no attempt to start NIS (and no long wait for a timeout...)
