Package: git-core
Version: 1:1.5.3.4-1
Severity: minor

Hi!

I've noticed that if $EDITOR has a space, like emacs -nw, while
git-commit etc. work, git tag gives me this:
fatal: exec emacs -nw failed.
fatal: There was a problem with the editor emacs -nw.

I couldn't really fix it. It works if I use 'emacs', but not 'emacs -nw'.

Thanks.
