Given the number of cases where I have seen this since the introduction of gconf-schemas (maybe 2 or 3 in 2 years) and the number of packages using it (almost 200), I think they are caused either by a very rare and subtle bug, or simply by hardware issues or filesystem corruption. > Besides that: The solution you came up with would be good to be > included somewhere I think.
