Package: dicomnifti
Version: 2.28.4-1~etch.apsy1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I am a happy user of dicomnifti aka dinifti. While evaluation dcm2nii
from mricron I've seen some options, which I think are also usefull for
dinift. So I thought I'll write 3 wishlist bugs.

finally wish 3 of 3: possibility of different slicing.

when I convertet a structural image with dcm2nii it automatically created a
sagital, coronal and horizontal sliced image. The included q and s form were
adapted so spm still had them corregistered.

Use case: Many T1-images are sliced sagitally but some tools which are not
aware of the orientation of an image require a different slicing. E.g. using
bet from FSL before continuing in SPM. bet allows you to include a gradient
in z-dircetion (which I need) and thus a horizontal slicing. I am aware that
this wish is the trickiest but I thought it might be usefull.

Regards and thans again,

Roland
