My arch is amd64, so I can't install your .deb. I'm trying to compile
from source without HAL:
# apt-get remove gnome-pilot && kill -9 $(ps aux | grep pilot | grep
-v grep | awk '{print $2'}) && apt-get source gnome-pilot && cd
/usr/src/gnome-pilot-2.0.15/ && ./configure --without-hal && make

but...

../gpilotd/gnome-pilot-structures.c:826: fatal error: opening
dependency file .deps/../gpilotd/gnome-pilot-structures.Tpo: No such
file or directory
compilation terminated.
