I'm really happy that the French translation exists, but to track down the
problem it would be really helpful if you could try this process again with
locale "C" (or something that generates an English output). :)
I do not know if med-bio really tries to modify the menu, or if it only
echoes "Adding menu for user charles of med ..." by mistake, but I guess
it is not supposed to do so during purge.
You probably have other med-packages installed and thus it is adding the
user menu for those other fields (but failed for a reason that I do not
understand - perhaps also a rugh English translation will do).
