I agree there. The bugs i open since 163 days now, irssi 0.8.12-rc1
has been released and david promised to package "in a couple of
weeks". Maybe he meant couple of month. I know, irssi is not critical
for the system, even not important. But in my opinion A package which
is included in the tree should be kept up to date
