Hi Matthias, I tried to reproduce this on an i386 box, with parted 1.8.7.git.2007.07.30-1, installing gcc-snapshot 20070916-1, setting PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH as described in its README.Debian, and then using debuild's -ePATH -LD_LIBRARY_PATH options, and I wasn't able to reproduce it.
