Thanks. The new wxwidgets is only in Sid for AMD at the moment, but
once the i386 version arrives I'll give it a try.
I upgraded wxwidgets to the version now in Sid, and that has cleared the
problem. This bug can now be closed - thanks for your help in
identifying the problem.
