package libdatetime-timezone-perl tags wontfix thanks There is DateTime::TimeZone::Tzfile module in CPAN which provides an interface for compiled tzdata timezones. I'll just fill ITP or RFP for this package if you need it.
The DateTime::TimeZone module should be Pure Perl module without dependency on binary data, IMO.
