Package: nethogs Version: 0.6.0-3 Severity: important
Last July I tried to learn which Debian version number of the 'nethogs' package the maintainer believed fixed and closed bug #374824: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=374824#69 ...while waiting in vain for a reply, the bug was automatically archived in August. It's nearly October, and the bug remains as described on 6/21/07. To recap: <snip> If I do: nethogs ppp0 ...no matter what online processes are run it displays only: NetHogs version 0.6.0 PID USER PROGRAM DEV SENT RECEIVED 0 root unknown 0.000 0.000 KB/sec TOTAL 0.000 0.000 KB/sec <snip> The bug was confirmed by another user: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=374824#49 If it matters, both 'ntop' and 'iptraf' work on my system with its 'ppp' connection.
