Hi, from the description of the "pending" tag it should be removed when an uploaded package fixes the bug. This is not automatically the case for non-maintainer uploads (NMUs). So I'd wish a NMU which closes the bug (ie. sets it to "fixed in NMU") would also remove any "pending" tag of the bug automatically. Example: I did an NMU for fox1.2 closing bug #303327, and had to manually remove the pending tag.
