Thanks, but that doesn't work for me: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# apt-get remove update-inetd Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done The following packages will be REMOVED at biff cvs exim4 exim4-base exim4-daemon-light ftp mailx mutt netbase nfs-common nis ntp openbsd-inetd pidentd telnet update-inetd You see that it won't remove update-inetd without taking biff at the same time. Anyway, the problem appears to be the return code from "[" falling through to the end of the postrm script. I've added "exit 0" to the end which I believe will prevent this. I'm just about to upload the new version. thanks, Dave -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
