Package: ttf-bitstream-vera Version: 1.10-7 Severity: minor Hello,
em-dash and en-dash (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dash) look the same in Bitstream Vera Sans Mono. OK, so they are both dashes, but apparently they have the same length. The other Bitstream fonts don't have this problem though, there the em-dash is longer than the en-dash, as it should be. This shows in both KDE and GTK programs (e.g. Claws Mail and KCharSelect). It isn't a major bug, perhaps there even is a reason for it in Vera Sans Mono, but it confused me nevertheless.
