Package: gnome-ppp Version: 0.3.23-1 When run from the command-line, gnome-ppp echoes its status to the command-line. It also has a very easily discoverable ability to display a log file which repeats the same information. I don't believe gnome-ppp should be so verbose in what it what it echoes to the command-line.
