Luke, far be it from me to accuse you of jumping to conclusions, but the
problem he reported is that spell checking doesn't work, not that it's
in the wrong language. Despite your beliefs to the contrary, Debian
still has the patch to register the dictionary as your locale has
reduced the bug reports pertaining to spell checking language (of which
there were a handful before the patch) to zero (after the patch). The
issue here is probably along the lines of attempting to load a da_DK
dictionary fails to find a da dictionary - if so the patch can be fixed
accordingly. I am e-mailing him to ask for debug output and try LANG=da
to confirm this for us.
