Package: ktorrent Version: 2.2.2.dfsg.1-1 Severity: normal If you try to use the safepeer/ip blocking feature, it will download the block list and copy it from the web, and will then open a diologue box asking if you want to convert the file. If you click convert to start building the list, the program does nothing and the progress bar stays at zero. There are no error messages, and you can close the diologue box, but it does not convert the list.
If you install the kdebase-kio-plugins package, the problem goes away and ktorrent can build/convert the list without any problems. I think this is because, if you are using a gnome system, ktorrent has no way to open the zip file that the block list is in without the kdebase-kio-plugins package - though I could be mistaken.
