Package: kernel-patch-openvz Severity: important
The hostnames for all my VEs and my server are all the same. Change one (with the hostname command) and they all change. The outputs from "uname -n" or hostname are the same on every virtual machine and the main host server. The /etc/hostname file is ignored. I have two Debian OpenVZ servers and they are both doing this. I'm using the kernel downloaded from download.openvz.org that has this patch installed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-openvz-13-39.1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
