Package: exim4 Version: 4.50-4 Whenever I run /usr/sbin/sendmail (often through and MUA), it takes around 6-8 seconds to run. Even running /usr/sbin/sendmail as a plain command takes a similar length of time. However, /usr/sbin/sendmail --version complained very quickly (< .5 seconds) that --version was an unrecognised option.
