Package: miro Version: 0.9.9.1-1 Severity: normal
Just tried installing miro on a newly installed etch system, having added sources for linne and sid, and specifying -t lenny when calling aptitude. Having done so, and having got some extra packages from lenny, and a few (obviously including miro) from sid, running miro gave: =-=-=-=- [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/miro/miro-0.9.9.1$ miro Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/miro.real", line 106, in ? startapp() File "/usr/bin/miro.real", line 54, in startapp import singleclick File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/miro/singleclick.py", line 35, in ? import app File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/miro/app.py", line 611, in ? import frontend File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/miro/frontend.py", line 51, in ? from frontend_implementation.MainFrame import MainFrame, NullDisplay File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/miro/frontend_implementation/MainFrame.py", line 38, in ? from frontend_implementation import trayicon File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.4/miro/frontend_implementation/trayicon.py", line 31, in ? class Trayicon(gtk.StatusIcon): AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'StatusIcon' =-=-=-=-=- This was resolved by installing python-gtk2 from sid, thus: =-=-=-=-=- ... Of course, I'm not sure if it's really working now, as I'm running it on a machine that's apparently too slow (500MHz Geode) and so it keeps whining about things taking too long, and won't play any videos, but the user interface starts now, which is better than irt was doing initially. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i586) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-486 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages miro depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.18.0-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libboost-pytho 1.34.1-2 Boost.Python Library ii libc6 2.6.1-1+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.4.10-1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.4.2-1.2 generic font configuration library ii libgcc1 1:4.2.1-4 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.14.0-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.10.13-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libnspr4-0d 1.8.0.13~pre070720-0etch3 NetScape Portable Runtime Library ii libpango1.0-0 1.18.1-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libstdc++6 4.2.1-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxcursor1 1.1.7-4 X cursor management library ii libxext6 1:1.0.1-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxfixes3 1:4.0.1-5 X11 miscellaneous 'fixes' extensio ii libxi6 1:1.0.1-4 X11 Input extension library ii libxine1 1.1.7-1 the xine video/media player librar ii libxinerama1 1:1.0.1-4.1 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxrandr2 2:1.2.2-1 X11 RandR extension library ii libxrender1 1:0.9.1-3 X Rendering Extension client libra ii libxul0d 1.8.1.6-1 Gecko engine library ii miro-data 0.9.9.1-1 GTK+ based RSS video aggregator da ii python 2.4.4-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-glade2 2.10.6-1 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gnome2 2.12.4-6 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gnome2- 2.14.3-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gtk2 2.10.6-1 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-pysqlit 2.3.5-1 python interface to SQLite 3 ii python-support 0.6.4 automated rebuilding support for p ii python2.4 2.4.4-3 An interactive high-level object-o miro recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
