Package: debian-installer Severity: minor
Hi, I recently installed an Etch machine in a private network where there are DHCP addresses handed out. They use a /16 network, and on most occasions (I had several attempts at it), the installer reported that the network configuration didn't succeed. But switching to another console and saying "ifconfig" showed that networking actually was configured correctly. Repeating the auto-configuration attempt mostly yielded a failure, only on one attempt it said "succeeded".
