Package: amavisd-new-milter
Version: 1:2.4.2-6.1
Severity: important

Amavisd-new-milter doesn't work together with clamav, when using separate
user/groups.

I run amavis under user/group amavis, and clamd under user/group clamav. The
clamav user is also in the amavis group.

When a mail comes in, amavisd-new-milter creates a directory in
/var/lib/amavis, with permissions 700 (owner amavis).
This makes it inaccessible for clamav. I'd recommend setting it to 750.

I get these errors in the syslog:

Sep 15 13:02:08 smtp amavis[10131]: (XXi2vuBW) (!!) ask_av (ClamAV-clamd)

result: /var/lib/amavis/amavis-milter-XXi2vuBW/parts: lstat() failed. ERROR\n
