I agree that the combination of src= and dist= appears to give odd results which aren't those I'd expect.
Being "only" an interested observer and not part of the bugs.d.o team however I'd prefer to see what they (i.e. Don :-) say rather than tweaking the status in case there's an explanation for the difference that I'm overlooking.
