Package: netatalk Version: 2.0.3-4 Severity: important
Accessing volumes from a Mac running stock OS 6.0.7 (and posibly earlier) mounts volumes readonly (the Finder displays a lock symbol in the related windows). Thus, writes on netatalk servers aren't possible. This happens regardless of any options in the volume configuration and it is also independend from having used the volume with newer OS versions. There are no related errors visible in the logfiles. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-3-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages netatalk depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcupsys2 1.2.7-4 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii libdb4.2 4.2.52+dfsg-2 Berkeley v4.2 Database Libraries [ ii libgssapi4-heimdal 0.7.2.dfsg.1-10 Libraries for Heimdal Kerberos ii libkrb5-17-heimdal 0.7.2.dfsg.1-10 Libraries for Heimdal Kerberos ii libpam-modules 0.79-4 Pluggable Authentication Modules f ii libpam-runtime 0.79-4 Runtime support for the PAM librar ii libpam0g 0.79-4 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libslp1 1.2.1-6.2 OpenSLP libraries ii libwrap0 7.6.dbs-13 Wietse Venema's TCP wrappers libra ii netbase 4.29 Basic TCP/IP networking system ii perl 5.8.8-7 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages netatalk recommends: pn db4.2-util <none> (no description available) pn lsof <none> (no description available) pn rc <none> (no description available) ii slpd 1.2.1-6.2 OpenSLP Server (slpd) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
