Package: mutt
Version: 1.5.16-3
Severity: normal

Saving an attachment to a directory in a file system mounted as type
CIFS fails with

"fopen: Permission denied (errno = 13)"

mutt creates a file of size=0 in that directory, with my user and
group

-rwxrwSrwt 1 luecke luecke 0 2007-09-13 12:30 Hardness facility
upgrade-final.doc

I can save the attachment to /tmp/ and then cp it to the mounted file
system, however. But I first have to rm the zero length file,
otherwise I get "permission denied."

After doing the above

-rw------- 1 luecke luecke 116736 2007-09-13 12:29 Hardness facility
upgrade-final.doc

(The time stamps are backwards because I saved the file to /tmp first)

I tried saving files with a couple of other applications (iceweasel,
gnumeric, w3m) and they succeeded.
