Package: mutt Version: 1.5.16-3 Severity: normal Saving an attachment to a directory in a file system mounted as type CIFS fails with
"fopen: Permission denied (errno = 13)" mutt creates a file of size=0 in that directory, with my user and group -rwxrwSrwt 1 luecke luecke 0 2007-09-13 12:30 Hardness facility upgrade-final.doc I can save the attachment to /tmp/ and then cp it to the mounted file system, however. But I first have to rm the zero length file, otherwise I get "permission denied." After doing the above -rw------- 1 luecke luecke 116736 2007-09-13 12:29 Hardness facility upgrade-final.doc (The time stamps are backwards because I saved the file to /tmp first) I tried saving files with a couple of other applications (iceweasel, gnumeric, w3m) and they succeeded. bill -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages mutt depends on: ii libc6 2.6.1-1+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgdbm3 1.8.3-3 GNU dbm database routines (runtime ii libgnutls13 1.6.3-1 the GNU TLS library - runtime libr ii libidn11 1.0-0 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libncursesw5 5.6+20070812-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libsasl2-2 2.1.22.dfsg1-14 Authentication abstraction library Versions of packages mutt recommends: ii exim4 4.67-8 meta-package to ease Exim MTA (v4) ii exim4-daemon-light [mail-tran 4.67-8 lightweight Exim MTA (v4) daemon ii locales 2.6.1-1 GNU C Library: National Language ( ii mime-support 3.39-1 MIME files 'mime.types' & 'mailcap -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
