At any rate, I have just committed code to the plugin pack that I think will fix the issue, although I was not able to reproduce. I'm not going to tag this, however, because I am not running a release version of Pidgin or a release version of the plugin pack. Given that, it is entirely possible that code changes in either the plugin pack or in Pidgin have had the side effect of masking this crash.
