Which version of pidgin-plugin-pack do you have installed? I didn't see that in
your initial mail. This looks very similar to a bug that was fixed by actions
in both Pidgin and our source prior to the release of version 2.0.0 of the
plugin pack.

At any rate, I have just committed code to the plugin pack that I think will fix
the issue, although I was not able to reproduce. I'm not going to tag this,
however, because I am not running a release version of Pidgin or a release
version of the plugin pack. Given that, it is entirely possible that code
changes in either the plugin pack or in Pidgin have had the side effect of
masking this crash.
