It is a **bug**.  Nothing in the package uses config.sub and config.guess at
ALL.  The rules file should not be adding them.  This is not "just a matter
of taste".

So, severity minor it is.  You don't add useless cruft to a package just for
the heck of it, and a bug is a bug is a bug.  Even when it is a harmless
buglet (thus, "minor" and not "normal").

The maintainer can tag this wontfix if he is in love with shipping
config.sub and config.guess in the diffs even when the package doesn't even
use it, but somehow I very much doubt that.  Likely, the package used to
need it and doesn't anymore.
