Package: network-manager Version: 0.6.5-1 Followup-For: Bug #361314 Hello
When I upgraded this morning, network-manager-gnome stopped working. Network-manager-gnome contains the applet which runs on the notification area, without this applet, network-manager is useless. The package exists in both debian stable (sarge) and unstable (sid), but not in lenny. After spending a long time figuring out what had happened, I modified my repositories, installed both network-manager and network-manager-gnome from the SID distribution, and then I was able to connect again. I also tried building it and installing it from sources downloaded from the GNOME official site (both the networkmanager and the applet) but it did not work. I think simply adding the package to lenny's repos would fix the bug (supposing it is caused by this).
